Dr. Valerie Griffin is an accomplished educational leader with more than 25 years of experience serving students, teachers, and school communities as a school counselor, principal, and district-level leader. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Supervision, and Policy from North Carolina State University and is passionate about helping schools strengthen leadership capacity, improve instructional practices, and create learning environments where all students can thrive. Through consulting, coaching, and professional development, Dr. Griffin partners with school and district leaders to transform vision into measurable and sustainable results.

For more than 25 years, I have worked at every level of public education, from school counselor to principal to district-level executive leader. Those experiences have given me a practical understanding of the challenges schools face and the strategies that lead to lasting improvement.

My approach combines relationship-building, instructional leadership, and data-informed decision making to help schools strengthen culture, improve teaching and learning, and achieve measurable results. I believe meaningful change happens when educators feel supported, expectations are clear, and leadership remains focused on student success.

Whether working with teachers, principals, leadership teams, or school divisions, my goal is simple: help schools move from vision to action and from action to results.
